How does the Soundproof Canvas work?

The Soundproof Canvas is made of the same material as our normal 4 cm thick Photo Canvas, and the print quality will be of the highest quality.

However, the Soundproof Canvas is filled with a 40 mm thick acoustic foam called Melamine Resin Foam. This type of foam is known to effectively absorb sound across a broad range of frequencies, but it’s especially effective in the mid to high frequency range. Here are the specific sound absorption coefficients, measured according to the international standard DIN EN ISO 10534-2.

• 250 Hz: 0.30
• 500 Hz: 0.45
• 1000 Hz: 0.80
• 2000 Hz: 0.98
• 4000 Hz: 0.94
