Apply Frames and Masks

Apply Frames and Masks

Frames and masks can be added to images and fill boxes. Frames allow you to change the shape of the image box and decorate it, which is very useful for highlighting elements against the background. Masks allow you to blur the edge of the image box, which can be used to create transitions, for example.

Frames

To add a frame to an image or fill box, select it and click the Frame button in the right-hand menu. Several frame options will appear in the right column. Click on one of these to apply it to the selected element. Depending on the frame selected, different customisation options will appear at the top of the Frame menu. You may find tools to change the opacity of the frame, its colour, line thickness, radius or alignment.

Apply frame or mask to multiple elements

Once you have adjusted the frame or mask on an image or fill box, it is possible to apply it to several elements at the same time with the parameters you have set. Select the image or fill box that has the frame or mask you want to apply to the rest of the elements. At the top of the Frame menu you will see the To all button. Clicking it gives you the option to Apply the frame and mask to all objects on the current page or to all objects in the project. Clicking one of these options will apply the frame or mask to all images and fill boxes of the selected option.
